As of the 2008 Detroit Auto Show, California-based Fisker Automotive continues to maintain that their exotically styled plug-in hybrid will begin shipping at the end of 2009 with a starting price of $80,000. We hope so. Fisker claims the Karma will deliver 50 miles of range on electricity alone, after which a gasoline or diesel engine takes over to extend range up to 600 miles. Promising…

It was a pleasure for BMW to present the BMW X6 at the Auto China Beijing 2008. A new car that delivers excellent emissions and fuel consumption figures on one hand and an excellent output on the other. BMW also released the BMW 1 Series for the Chinese automobile market.
